Do you offer same-day garage door repair?
Yes, seven days a week across the Atlanta metro. Most repairs are finished in a single visit because our trucks carry springs, cables, rollers, and opener parts rather than ordering them after the diagnosis. Should I repair my garage door or replace it?
The honest test is how many separate things are failing at once. A single broken spring on an otherwise sound 12-year-old door is a repair, every time. A door with rusted-through sections, a bent track, sagging panels, and tired springs is throwing good money after bad. Doors generally last 20 to 30 years, and steel sections that have started to rust from the bottom edge up are past saving. We will tell you which one you have before we quote it. Can I replace a broken garage door spring myself?
We would strongly advise against it. A torsion spring on a standard double door holds enough stored energy to break bones, and it releases all of it in a fraction of a second if a winding bar slips. Springs also come in specific wire gauge, length, and inside diameter combinations, so the wrong replacement fails early and puts the opener under strain. What garage door and opener brands do you service?
We service every major brand regardless of who installed it, including CHI, Amarr, Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Raynor, and Overhead Door. On openers we work on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, and Sommer, and we carry parts for the common ones on the truck. We install CHI and Amarr as our primary lines. A door we did not install is not a problem, and it does not change what we charge.
How long should a garage door opener last?
Twelve to fifteen years is typical for a residential unit, longer if the door itself stays balanced. An opener forced to drag a door with tired springs wears out years early, which is why a failing opener is often really a spring problem. Past about fifteen years, logic boards and gear assemblies get hard to source and the safety standards have moved on. See opener replacement.
Do you use subcontractors?
Never. Every technician who comes to your house is a W-2 Metro employee in a Metro truck. We are not a lead-generation site that sells your call to whoever is nearest, and we are not a franchise.
